This topic is probably one of the most ignored doctrines in the Bible. It has been hugely distorted by disinformation, especially by those preying on the ignorance of the Biblically illiterate. Charismatic hucksters, con artists, and self-proclaimed “bible teachers” have insured that that ignorance continues to bilk money from those they prey on. To compound the problem, pastors have refused to teach their people about this doctrine because of their own lack of knowledge and the fear of being labelled a wild eyed fanatic. This series does not pretend to be an exhaustive treatment of the subject, it should correct many false ideas and misunderstandings.
